Re: Amazon has told its warehouse workers that they no longer have to wear masks if they're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 [feedly]
They actually allowed fully vaccinated workers to go mask free on June 10th but then made masks mandatory for everyone again on Aug 6th as the delta variant started surging. Going mask free again is probably a response to the end of the delta surge. Proof of vaccination is required to go mask free "legally" but what happened in my warehouse, at least, is that the tenuous commitment to enforcing the mask mandate completely collapsed once the mask mandate was partially lifted and on site management made only the most half hearted of efforts to start enforcing it again when it came back. Many workers and most managers wore their masks as chin straps the last few months.
